Annual Plant & Bake Sale
9am - Noon at Hampton Centre School
Please share info about one of the plants you are bringing to the sale. This will help us all be better informed sales folk!
Plant Sale Preparation Tips:
Dividing your perennials in the fall, potting and setting into the ground over winter works well – plus the weather is usually much nicer working in the garden than temperamental New England “spring” days.
Remember to label carefully to withstand the elements.

Dividing your plants in the spring:
● Divide and pot up your plant divisions as early as the weather allows. This provides time for good root development... and a healthy looking plant on sale day.
● Shelter your potted up plants from late frosts and severe weather conditions best to bury to rim. Water as need to help recovery.
● Label the plants clearly, including name, growth pattern, sun and water requirements and COLOR!!
● All lilies must be labeled with color!!! Buyers usually aren’t interested in the common orange lily.
● Neaten up your donations for the sale – healthy and attractive plants sell quickly and at a good price.
